CLC Lunch -16 Oct 2025, at The Cavalry and Guards Club - Guest Speaker Lieutenant General N C L Perry DSO MBE
The Cavalry Lunch Club (CLC) allows RAC Alumni to reconnect through useful networking opportunities such as the CLC lunches.
How to apply to join – please complete the RAC Alumni Registration form by clicking the button below. The Alumni Membership Secretary will then direct you to the CLC LinkedIn group.
The Club arranges two or three main events per year, in the form of a lunch or drinks party with a guest speaker, which usually take place at The Cavalry and Guards Club. As a networking group, members are actively encouraged not only to meet up with friends, but also contribute to the CLC community. This means:
The Club is very proud of its colourful tie, which it is said denotes membership of a now defunct Indian Cavalry regiment, the 14th Bengal Irregular Cavalry. Once part of the membership, you are encouraged to purchase the elegant and attractive Cavalry Lunch Club tie, which is shown here in all its glory. It is a mere snip at £25.00 plus £5.00 postage and packing (UK and BFPS only) – please contact the Alumni Events Secretary, who is also the Hon. Treasurer via alumnievents@royalarmouredcorps.org.uk, for all bookings, ties and respective payment matters. Note: Ties can also be collected at events.
For those of you that live north of the border you should be aware that there is the Edinburgh Cavalry Club (ECC) which also provides social / networking events and employment support. For anyone interested they should contact the ECC Secretary at edinburghcavalryclub@gmail.com
